June 26, 2010 SEMO at 1st Birthday Anniversary at Studio

Five members of SEMO including Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), Eunice Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 9), and Sala Oh ( Portola Middle School 8), performed wedding songs and other soft music pieces at a traditional Korean First Birthday Celebration. These traditional first birthday celebrations for newborns are called Dols. These five members performed next to the main stage during the reception and dinner session.

June 25, 2010 SEMO at Come and See Kindergarten Graduation and Dinner Party

Four of the SEMO members including Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), Allison Lee ( John Marshall HS 11), and Sala Oh ( Portola Middle School 8) participated in the kindergarten and pre school graduation and dinner party.

May 28, 2010 SEMO at PAVA Fundraising Installation Event

The 2010 Pacific American Volunteer Association Fundraising Event at Wilshire Palace Hotel took place on May 28, 2010. Five of the members including Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), Eunice Tak ( Campbell HS 9), and Allison Lee ( John Marshall HS 11) participated in the music event. The members performed several pieces as PAVA Jr. members and parents walked into the reception room. The members set up and played music in the reception hall before and after the actual event.

     

December 18, 2009 SEMO at PAVA Award Night

Five of the SEMO members including Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), Eunice Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 9), and Annie Hwang ( North Hollywood HS 11) participated in performing music at the Pacific American Volunteer Association Award Night on December 18, 2009. We performed soothing music before the reception award night started as the audience arrived.

December 5,6, 2009 SEMO at Nursing Home

This nursery home event was hosted by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and was a two-day event. Three members of SEMO, Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), and Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), performed musical pieces for the elderly at these nursery homes while other volunteers passed out food, clothing ,and hospitality to the nursery home residents on Bonnie Brae St.

Four SEMO members, Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), and Eunice Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 9) performed wedding ceremony music before the during the wedding of Maria Gonzalez and Kenneth Peneku.

June 16, 2009 SEMO at Rainbow Pre-School Graduation

Four members of SEMO including Angela Oh ( North Hollywood HS 12), Jane Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 11), Gina Kim ( John Marshall HS 12), and Eunice Tak ( Campbell Hall HS 9) performed at the Rainbow Pre-School Graduation. They performed ceremonial graduation pieces and played as the pre-school students walked across stage with their awards and pre-school diplomas.
